Ally Ang is a gaysian poet and editor based in Seattle. They are the author of Let the Moon Wobble, forthcoming from Alice James Books in Fall 2025.

Ally has received fellowships and support from the National Endowment for the Arts, MacDowell, the Jack Straw Writers Program, and Artist Trust.

Ally’s writing has been published in Poets.org, The Rumpus, Muzzle Magazine, and elsewhere. Their work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best New Poets, Best of the Net, Best American Science Fiction & Fantasy, and Bettering American Poetry.

Ally holds a BA in Sociology from Wellesley College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. Outside of poetry, they are also a grant writer and nonprofit development professional.
