Ally Ang is the author of Let the Moon Wobble (Alice James Books), an honor book for the 2026 Stonewall Book Awards Barbara Gittings Literature Award, a finalist for the 2026 Audre Lorde Award for Lesbian Poetry, and one of Debutiful's best debut poetry collections of 2025. They hold a BA in Sociology from Wellesley College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington. Ally has received fellowships and support from the National Endowment of the Arts, MacDowell, Artist Trust, and the Jack Straw Writers Program. Ally’s work has been featured in The Rumpus, The Academy of American Poets' Poem-a-Day series, The Seattle Met, The Slowdown with Ada Limón, and elsewhere. They are a senior poetry editor for Game Over Books and a board member of Youth Speaks Seattle. Along with Cody Stetzel, Ally co-hosts Other People's Poems, a poetry open mic and reading series that centers readers and lovers of poetry.
